Welcome to Homebird
Run by 2 friends, Liz and Jo the business was started February 2011. Little did we know that it would take off in quite the way it has, but nevertheless we enjoy it ! We take a great deal of time sourcing beautiful and unusual gifts and accessories for you and your loved ones. Having been in the retail business for 10 years many of the suppliers were known to us, but we have expanded our range and are always happy to try something new if it appeals to us and if we think you will like it.
Specialising in French style, vintage and shabby chic inspired products we aim to provide a 1 stop shop for you to peruse and enjoy. Because we buy what we like we are extremely enthusiastic about our products and are only a phone call away.
We stock throws, clocks, occasional furniture, socks, signs and plaques, door knobs, kitchen textiles and china, cards, stationery, handmade chocolates, gifts and much, much, more. Due to demand, we are also stocking wedding favours such as soap and hearts in bags, as well as children’s gifts including photo albums, zebra bootees, animal comforters and soft toys. We also have a range of products from top local suppliers including Camelot Pictures and a wide range of Avoca clothing and accessories. Our range of shabby chic gifts and other products are continually changing so please add us to your favourites and leave us your email address so we may contact you with our special offers, newsletters and vouchers.
We really hope you will find products to suit you and aim to provide you with a first class service. Our retail shop is set in the picturesque town of Bideford, in North Devon, with the beautiful River Torridge, the smell of the sea and proper Devon all around, so please come and visit if you can!
